Sholom Ellenberg


Lead Consultant

CCIE, CISSP

Mr. Ellenberg has served as the C.I.O./C.T.O for a number of organizations over the years. Including MortgageIT (acquired by Deutsche bank), Walker Digital Gaming, and Tallan (acquired by CMGI), and was the Director of Technical Operations for Oxford Health plans during a six year period of hyper-growth.

Ellenberg was also a partner in Control Group, a NYC based consulting organization now known as Intersection. While with Control Group Mr. Ellenberg worked with a number of high profile clients and projects such as the launch of the Citi Bike network and a world wide systems upgrade for Gagosian Gallery.

Mr. Ellenberg worked as a consultant for the Westchester County government as the prime architect on a project to create a county wide emergency response voice and data communications network. The network was designed to tie together local authorities and medical personnel (police, fire, hospitals, and the Emergency Operations Center) in order to allow for a secure coordinated response to any critical incident in a post 9/11 world.

As a consultant, Mr. Ellenberg was the lead architect for the first post IPO Priceline.com datacenters as well as other large volume ECommerce sites.

Ellenberg also has extensive experience working in the Asia Pacific region with time spent on projects in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Shanghai, among others.

Ellenberg has led the implementation of:

  • Cloud Migrations

  • EHR systems

  • Document management and workflow systems

  • Infrastructure for leading ECommerce platforms

  • Many varied LAN, WAN, and VoIP projects

Mr. Ellenberg has taught college level courses in data communications and networking. He has also been a guest lecturer at the Henry B. Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. Mr. Ellenberg holds a CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification as well as a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.
